Job Description

Bridgemead Consulting is recruiting a Human Resources and admin. Officer on behalf of its client: a premium and luxury hotel, restaurant, lounge and event center. We are looking to employ a skilled HR. and Admin. Officer who will recruit, support and develop talent through developing policies and managing procedures. The HR. and admin. officer is expected to be knowledgeable with employment legislation and possess strategic and commercial insight to the labor process. He or she must be able to negotiate with diplomacy. He or she will be responsible for administrative tasks and you’ll contribute to making the company a better place to work. Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations of the HR department.
  • Support the development and implementation of fair HR initiatives and systems.
  • Cover all legal compliance for human resource federal and state requirements.
  • Perform administrative tasks.
  • Maintain employee records (attendance, EEO data etc.) according to policy and legal requirements.
  • Implement performance review procedures (e.g. quarterly/annual and 360° evaluations).
  • Ensure meticulous implementation of payroll and benefits administration.
  • Review and oversee procedures for employee safety, welfare, wellness and health.
  • Prepare job descriptions, advertising vacant positions, and manage the employment process.
  • Other responsibilities as may be assigned by the organisation.

Strong verbal and written communication skills 4
Knowledge of labour legislation 4
Excellent computer skills, knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and demonstrated skills in database management and record keeping. 4

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently 4
Education & Experience

Academic Qualification (s)

BSc/BA in human resources, business or relevant field. MSc/MA in the above-mentioned fields will be an added advantage. CIPM certification is an added advantage.

Years of Experience

Minimum of two years’ proven experience in human resources and administration.
Working Conditions

Work Hours

Tuesdays – Saturdays 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Work Space

Head office and any other assigned location.

Salary: N80,000 – N100,000 monthly (+benefits)
