Job Description

Bridgemead Consulting is recruiting for the position of a Receptionist/Customer Service Officer on behalf of our client; an all encompassing beauty place. We are looking for a Receptionist who will be the first point of contact for the organisation. Your duties include offering administrative support across the organization. You will welcome guests who visit the business. You will also coordinate front-desk activities, including distributing correspondence and redirecting phone calls. He/She will help customers with complaints and questions, give customers information about products and services, answer questions about client’s reservations, take orders and process returns. To be successful in this role, you must have a pleasant personality. You must also be able to deal with emergencies in a timely and effective manner, while streamlining office operations. Multitasking and stress management skills are essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receiving visitors at the front desk by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately.
  • Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction.
  • Answering questions about the company’s services.
  • Responding to all customer inquiries in a polite and timely manner.
  • Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution.
  • Maintaining and updating records of purchase orders and inventory records.
  • Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email.
  • Process orders and transactions.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by management.

Education & Experience

Academic Qualification (s)

HND/ BSC. in Administration Management or any similar course.

Years of Experience

Minimum of one (1) year experience as a Receptionist or Customer Service Officer.

Other experience

Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Customer Service Officer, Front Office Representative or similar role. Working knowledge of inventory management practices; Such as first-in-first-out convention of valuing stock.
Working Conditions

Work Hours

Tuesdays – Sundays.

May work evenings, late night shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Salary: 100,000 - 120,000 Monthly
